Weekend Shift Operator

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday andamp; Sunday
Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £16.77 per hour
Guaranteed Pay: 40 hours per week (36 hours worked)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Weekend Shift Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in Bicester. This role is based on a production line within the main factory and is ideal for individuals who have experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, engineering, automotive or production environments.
Working as part of a fast-paced team, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet strict quality standards before being dispatched to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect coated components for finish quality, colour consistency, defects and surface integrity.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation, inspection records and non-conformance reports.
• Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, internal standards and industry requirements.
• Support final quality sign-off prior to packing and dispatch.
• Carry out routine line operating duties within the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health andamp; Safety, quality and ISO procedures at all times.

Skills andamp; Experience

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, quality inspection, engineering or automotive environments.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
• Good understanding of quality processes and documentation.
• Ability to work independently whilst remaining an effective team player.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced factory environment.
• Reliable, methodical and committed to maintaining high standards.
