Sr QA Technician (Batch Release) - 6 Month Temporary | Birmingham | £13.94 p/h | Immediate Start

The Assignment

We have an immediate requirement for a Sr QA Technician (Batch Release) to join a global organisation operating within the medical devices and specialty diagnostics sector in Birmingham.

This is a 6-month temporary assignment, supporting a busy Quality Assurance team responsible for ensuring compliance, batch release activities and quality system effectiveness within a highly regulated environment.

The assignment is expected to run for 6 months.

What the Work Involves

Working as part of an established Quality Assurance team, your duties will include:

- Reviewing and verifying Device History Records (DHRs) to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
- Supporting batch review and release activities, ensuring quality events, NCRs and CAPAs are satisfactorily addressed prior to release
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, KPI reporting, training activities and quality documentation updates

Hours, Shifts andamp; Pay

Shift pattern: Days only, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00
Pay rate: £13.94 p/h
Pay frequency: Weekly
Holiday pay: Accrued and paid weekly
Overtime: Available

What We Need From You

- Previous experience within a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or other regulated manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of GxP regulations, particularly GMP, GDP, MDSAP and IVDR
- Experience working with quality systems, controlled documentation or batch release processes
- Strong communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications; experience with electronic quality management systems would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK - documentation will be required before start
