We''re working with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing Cambridge team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects whilst taking on greater responsibility, client exposure and leadership opportunities.
From education and healthcare developments to commercial and residential schemes, you''ll play a key role in delivering innovative and practical structural solutions from concept through to completion.
What You''ll Be Doing
- Leading structural design projects across a variety of sectors
- Taking projects from concept design through construction and final delivery
- Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports
- Undertaking site inspections and structural surveys
- Working closely with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with the mentoring and development of junior engineers
- Managing project programmes, resources and budgets
What We''re Looking For
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership
- Strong experience delivering building structures projects
- Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Experience across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial or residential
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
