As the first line of defence on site, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of critical facilities while working as part of a dedicated and supportive security team.
What You''ll Be Doing
As a Security Guard, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting site patrols and security checks
- Monitoring CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
- Controlling access for employees, visitors, and contractors
- Undertaking vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches
- Performing escort duties across the site
- Issuing and managing site keys and security equipment
- Recording incidents and maintaining accurate documentation
- Completing security reports and logs
- Liaising with emergency services and external agencies when required
- Supporting ongoing security training and development initiatives
What We''re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Valid UK passport
- Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good administration and record-keeping abilities
- Basic Microsoft Office skills

Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires successful completion of:
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
- Security Check (SC) clearance
- Occupational Health screening
Candidates must be able to satisfy UK Government security vetting requirements, including checks relating to identity, employment history, nationality, criminal record, and financial circumstances.
