Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable Labourer / Flooring Assistant to support a flooring installation team on a short-term project. This is an entry-level role and would suit someone with a good work ethic, practical attitude, and willingness to carry out manual work.
Duties
- Assisting flooring fitters with installation work.
- Moving materials and equipment around site.
- Preparing work areas and keeping them clean and tidy.
- Removing old flooring and disposing of waste materials.
- Supporting the team with general labouring duties as required.
- Following all health and safety procedures on site.
Requirements
- Valid DBS certificate (essential).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential.
Working Hours
- Standard day shifts. 7 AM - 3 PM OR 8 AM - 4 PM
- Overtime may be available depending on project requirements.
This is a straightforward temporary role designed to provide additional support to the flooring installation team for a one-week project.
