Yard Person/Forklift Driver (Temporary with Potential for Permanent)
Location: Stalbridge
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Person to join our team in Stalbridge on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely using a counterbalance forklift.
- Organising and maintaining the yard to a high standard.
- Carrying out stock movements and basic stock checks.
- Assisting with deliveries and collections as required.
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Supporting the wider depot team with day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- Full Category B Driving Licence (essential).
- Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
